about
A song from the fairy tale fantasy book, "The Thirteenth Hour." In the book, the song is written by one of the main characters, Aurora, for her best friend and love, Logan, when he’s going through a rough time (sick, weak, imprisoned in a dungeon). She sang it acapella in the book, but for this version, I took some artistic liberties, as it's accompanied by an acoustic guitar. Also, I'm not a woman. So there's that.
Where are you now?
Won't you tell me
What you're thinking?
I've been there;
No resting for the weary.
But in the end, hold true.
For the best is yet to
Happen to you ...
Sometimes – it's hard,
To keep your head up high.
You walk alone,
Feeling cold and scared inside.
So close your eyes,
Open up your mind.
For it's when you listen
That you hear all there is inside.
'Cause dreams go far,
No matter where you are.
If you wish for me,
I'll wish for you,
And we'll make our
Dreams come true.
Long ago – could you guess
This is where you'd be now?
Yes, I know, it's hard to
Watch your world unfold.
But on this long, winding road,
How you think you are
Is what will come true.
For it's when you look
That see all that you can do.
'Cause dreams go far,
No matter who you are.
If you wish for me,
I'll wish for you,
And we'll make our
Dreams come true.
Dreams go far,
No matter how you are.
If you believe in me,
I'll believe in you,
And then we'll make our
Dreams come true.
