The instrumental track accompanying the song "There's a Wild Heart Beating" and a section in the unnamed sequel to "The Thirteenth Hour" where Logan, one of the main characters, plays melody on top of a hill of a foreign city as a signal to his wife, Aurora. Earlier in the book, the couple had lived on a small island along with half-elves, who used reed pipes to send signals long distances. Logan picked up a little of how to play their flutes but tended to play the same couple of notes over and over, trying to come up with a tune. Here he finally does, and those four notes, easily recognizable to Aurora, form the melody of this track.
