This synth ballad is for a scene for one of the upcoming sequels to "The Thirteenth Hour" and its accompanying soundtrack.
In it, the two heroes from "The Thirteenth Hour" have been separated not only each other but from the home they have created together due to a variety of circumstances beyond their control. Aurora, the naturally more musical of the couple, starts writing this song as a way of channeling her sadness and frustration. She only gets about halfway through when she gets stuck on the chorus.
Eventually, Logan is able to find her partially completed lyrics and finishes the song. He figures out where she is (in a castle at the center of a far-away city), and standing on a hill high above the rooftops, plays the song for her, Lloyd Dobbler-style, so she can hear and know that he is alive, well, and hopeful for the future.
In the art that accompanies this track. Logan is practicing the song on a reed pipe as he looks out over the city, hopeful that Aurora might hear him from one of the castle windows.
