This is a short an atmospheric piece meant for the next Thirteenth Hour book. I was aiming to portray a warm feeling of safety that the two main characters, Logan and Aurora, create after they've made their own cabin on a secluded island away from the chaos of the world. Of course, that doesn't last since nothing lasts forever (and otherwise there wouldn't be a story).
